Eighty-nine apartments in the Faubourg Lafitte will be set aside as market rate rentals instead of homes for sale under a slightly revised plan approved by the Housing Authority of New Orleans.

Lafitte is a 517-unit complex of low-income rentals and affordable homes on the site of the 1941-vintage development, which had 896 units.
