The building will serve Section 8 and public housing [senior] residents and include 89 one-bedroom units and 11 two-bedroom units ranging in size from 615 square feet to 900 square feet.

Developer Lafitte Senior Housing began construction on the 96,000-square-foot facility in January and expects to be completed in 18 months.
